Toy retailer case study
Sue Burns had, had experience of using several, remote, third party fulfilment solutions and found that they all offered quick and efficient processing of online orders. How were ProFS going to do better? We asked Sue for her thoughts.
What led you to consider outsourcing your B2C fulfilment?
ProFS offered fulfilment services, but with the added benefit of addressing our specific fulfilment growth requirements. I met with ProFS's management team and together we created a twelve month, tiered transition to move from our own fulfilment to taking full advantage of all of ProFS's capabilities, with little or no disruption to our business processes or customers.
What were the criteria you looked for when choosing a fulfilment partner?
One of ProFS's key strengths is their communication and all the process enhancements that this brings with it. I have been able to meet with their warehouse teams and discuss postage and packaging options as well as highlight any additional process requirements or specialised packaging.
Why did you eventually choose PFS?
In addition to efficient processing of deliveries and swift fulfilment of online orders, ProFS also respond very quickly to all my emails and are keen to resolve any issues with urgency. I know the first-names of all the staff that deal with my inventory and orders and feel as though they are genuinely part of my team.
How does the solution deliver value?
In summary, with ProFS I feel that rather than just employing a fulfilment solution, I have gained a business partner who is genuinely committed to helping me further the growth of my company. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending ProFS to any company considering a third-party fulfilment solution.
