Swiss Day - a sell out

ProFS were delighted with the event held on Friday 11th June at the Radisson Blu with Basel E-Business and Swiss Post International. Over 50 customers and partners attended the day and were treated to a fact-filled afternoon. Click here for a video clip

Julie Coward CEO of The Basel Group welcomed attendees and speakers to Jersey and to the event. She expressed her delight at the range and experience of the visiting presenters and ensured she would keep the event on time! 4 hours later the enthusiastic question and answer session proved that many new ideas had been shared.

Jean-Pierre Streich, CEO of Swiss Post International said: "We think there are a lot of opportunities right now and you do a lot of business out of the Channel Islands, mainly oriented to the UK. But the same customers could do the same business in the European market. But then I think the Channel Islands are not really positioned, geographically also, to do this platform. And that's why we organised this Swiss Day, just to open the mind of local suppliers- they could do the same for the European markets, but with a base in Switzerland." click here for full television interview
